Welcome to Sickypedia!

This website was conceived by Tristan and Madison Susoeff, with help from Tristan's best friend Wade. At the birth of this site, Tristan and Wade were both in the sixth grade and Madison, Tristan's older sister was a sophomore in High School. I am Al, their dad, and the administrator around here.

The overall idea was that there should be a site mostly geared for kids where they could find silly, funny, weird and gross facts about anything and everything. For example, everybody knows what flatulence is....a fart; but how many people know exactly how much "gas" comes out when you let one go? The answer to this scientific and technological quandary can be found here at Sickypedia.

How about snot? Did you know that you will swallow an average of 40 gallons of this slimy substance over the course of a lifetime? And did you ever stop to think that you can tell the age of a whale by the amount of earwax they have built up?

Not to be undone by those who would call us frivolous and facetious, we also have endeavored to include facts that although not technically gross, were at least hilarious enough as to show the random if not beautiful chaos of this planet and the stupidity of human beings in general. To give you an idea, let me just point out that in Alaska it is against the law to serve beer to a moose. In Newark, New Jersey a law still exists that you cannot sell ice cream after 6 pm unless the customer has a note from their doctor.

Now for the first time ever the secrets of the universe will be revealed to you in all their blazing ridiculous, glory.

Please feel free to add to this archive, that’s the whole point after all; to have a massive storehouse of nearly completely useless information for all the world to see.

Kinda makes you wonder how it is that we have survived all these years without annihilating ourselves doesn't it....
